Batista was back in the WWE rumor mill as he addressed
longstanding rumors of his imminent return.
Batista left a glimmer of hope for his fans via Twitter with the
following Tweet:
Here's a cryptic message: I'm focused on movies now. No #MMA
anytime soon. No #WWE plans either, but not opposed. Hopefully #MyFansSupportMe
Batista was last seen
in 2010, doing the best work of his career as a heel. He has since leaned down to foray in to MMA,
and is now preparing to shoot the blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy movie,
facilitating a move back up to 290 lbs.
Given the WWE fan
base and its eternal love for nostalgia, a handful of names could be back by
popular demand within the near to distant future.
